The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas will hold its annual FREE training for law enforcement in April 2016 as follows:
Monday, April 18th – Beaumont
Tuesday, April 19th – Lufkin
Wednesday, April 20th – McKinney
Thursday, April 21st – Tyler
This 2016 training will focus on Civil Rights issues, Use of Force, 4th Amendment updates, Drug Market Intervention programs and electronic evidence recovery.
Law enforcement officers will participate in an interactive Civil Rights Training module established by the Federal Bureau of Investigation post-Ferguson. Officers will learn about new initiatives in reducing local drug activity. Training will also include 4th Amendment updates and the latest in techniques for recovering electronic evidence.
This training is specifically designed for agents and officers that are actively involved in investigating crimes . There is no registration fee for this training but space is limited. Feel free to distribute the attached Training Announcement to all local, state, and federal agents. Please register before April 11, 2016.
