Below is a calendar that has been approved by the Beaumont Foundation of America for their second attempt at LIT interviews for the C. Edward Keller scholarships. Three 2-yr,.$2,000 per semester scholarships are available for incoming Criminal Justice or Homeland Security majors for Fall 2011. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 – Deadline to return application and required documentation to LIT.
Thursday, August 4, 2011 – LIT will review applications and nominate potential scholarship recipients to the Beaumont Foundation based on financial need and demonstration of strong commitment to academic success and achievement of personal and educational goals.
Friday, August 5, 2011 – LIT will deliver 8-10 selected applicants for interviews.
Monday, August 8, 2011 – BFA will review applications and select 5-8 recipients for interviews.
Wednesday, August 10, 2011 – BFA will notify LIT of the 5-8 selected applicants for interviews.
Thursday, August 11, 2011 – LIT will notify and schedule interviews with selected students.
Monday, August 15, 2011(beginning at 10:00 a.m) – BFA will conduct interviews with potential candidates on the LIT Campus.
Tuesday, August 16, 2011 – BFA will notify LIT of recommended recipients.
Wednesday, August 17, 2011 – Deadline for LIT to notify recommended recipients of scholarship award.
